Job Summary

Climatec LLC is seeking a highly skilled Fire and Life Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and testing of fire suppression systems, including fire alarm, fire sprinkler, fire extinguisher, and kitchen hood systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and testing of fire suppression systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and ensure their needs are met.
  • Provide accurate and timely inspection reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to provide support and information during the estimating phase.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma.
  • At least 1 year of experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Understanding of computer operating systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Clear and concise communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work nights and weekends as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Two-year technical degree in a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in testing and inspecting fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems.
  • Experience with Building Reports software.
  • NICET, CSA, or other certifications in the fire and life safety industry.
