Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales and Management Intern to join our team at Buckle LLC. As a Sales and Management Intern, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in sales, merchandising, and leadership while working closely with our experienced management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Generation and Guest Service: Provide legendary service to guests, answer questions, recommend products, and maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
  • Teammate Recruiting, Training and Development: Recognize recruiting opportunities, maintain a positive attitude, and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Visual Merchandise Management: Present merchandise in a manner that maximizes sales and achieves optimum merchandise turn.
  • Operations: Perform tasks such as opening and closing cash registers, counting money, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Internship Duties
  • Complete Teammate Orientation, Beginning Leadership, and Recruiting, Interviewing and Hiring sections of the Buckle Management Manual.
  • Provide weekly reports and progress updates to the Area Manager and District Manager.
  • Develop an understanding of Buckle's products, sales presentation, and merchandising process.
  • Put knowledge into action by managing a product category, setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
Requirements
  • In pursuit of a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field of study.
  • No prior experience or training necessary.
