Position Overview: Substance Abuse Counselor III

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide rehabilitative services tailored to participants in the ISUDTP program.
  • Utilize therapeutic methodologies to implement program curricula effectively.
  • Collaborate with participants to create individualized treatment and action plans.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of participant progress and evaluations.
  • Engage with colleagues and mentors while participating in required training sessions.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's, Bachelor's, or Associate's Degree in a relevant discipline or AOD certification.
  • Proven experience in delivering substance use disorder treatment as a certified AOD Counselor.
  • In-depth understanding of the causes and effects of substance abuse.
  • Excellent communication and computer proficiency.
  • Capacity to uphold professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
