Job Summary

The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents at Father Baker Manor Sub Acute. As a key member of our team, you will assist and support residents in their daily activities, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and transferring residents
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans
Requirements
  • New York State Certified CNA or deemed "waived"
  • Completion of an approved 100-hour nurse aide course
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Working Conditions
  • Lifts, pulls, and pushes residents
  • Stands and walks for extended periods
  • Works in a normal heat, light, and safe environment
