About the Opportunity

Sasha Bruce Youthwork Inc. is a leading provider of homeless youth services in the DC Region. We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to support our People Team and Operations Team in a fast-paced work environment.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people and contribute to a kind and caring work environment. You will use your excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, including clients, vendors, donors, management, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that all required documentation is accurately completed and submitted.
  2. Verify the completeness of new hire paperwork, including employment contracts, tax forms, and benefit enrollment.
  3. Assist with new hire orientations, highlighting company policies, code of conduct, and compliance expectations.
  4. Assist in the administration of HR programs, including performance evaluations and benefits enrollment.
  5. Prepare documentation as required for funders to document compliance with all requirements.
  6. Review benefit invoices and submit to Finance.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

Requirements
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred; or High School Diploma or GED with related experience required
  • A minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using a personal computer, including knowledge and skill in the use of the Windows operating system and pertinent software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and online payroll software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
