Behavioral Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Autism Behavioral Institute. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing training and supervision to our team of behavioral staff, conducting behavioral assessments, and implementing treatment curricula.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct behavioral services and assessments to clients
  • Conduct behavioral assessments and design treatment programs for clients
  • Supervise a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCABAs) to implement treatment plans
  • Provide primary caregiver training and support
  • Protect the well-being of all clients in treatment sessions and emergency crises
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or national equivalent with a major in psychology, special education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field of studies
  • Certification as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
  • Minimum two years' experience working with children, adolescents, or adults with special needs
  • Completed the 8-hour BACB supervisor training
