About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Category Manager to join our team at Trane Technologies. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and managing the overall US / Global Corporate travel program, ensuring seamless travel experiences for our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage category strategies to optimize spend, mitigate risk, and align with travel program goals.
  • Lead end-to-end contract negotiations with 3rd party travel suppliers and corporate aviation services.
  • Establish strong relationships with employees, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to drive a seamless travel experience.
  • Manage and resolve customer service-related issues, including agency or online bookings, hotel/air/car suppliers, and other travel-related concerns.
  • Develop key partnerships with internal stakeholders, including leaders in Finance, Business Services, Administration, Global Security, and other key internal business partners.
  • Build and manage key travel reports focusing on spend-management, compliance, and safety.

As a Travel Category Manager at Trane Technologies, you will enjoy a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $95,000 - $125,000, plus an incentive. Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain.
  • Demonstrated experience leading contract negotiations, category strategy development, and supplier relationship management.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, or similar.
  • Corporate Travel Program management experience preferred.
  • Experience in developing and/or managing a corporate travel policy.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, including the ability to maintain several concurrent projects and manage customer expectations.
  • Strong leadership skills, honoring a globally diverse team across time zones.
  • Proven track record delivering excellent customer service and problem resolution.
  • Strong Supply Chain Acumen with experience utilizing best-in-class industry tools and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
