Position Overview

· Adheres to established safety protocols and regulations

· Assists in the routine upkeep and servicing of laboratory equipment and facilities

· Organizes and maintains documentation related to laboratory operations and equipment

· Prepares laboratory spaces for client use, which includes cleaning, equipment setup, and inventorying supplies

· Prepares fundamental cell culture media and solutions

· Cleans and maintains laboratory glassware

· Oversees the Unifirst service contract

· Coordinates calibration of minor laboratory instruments

· Accepts deliveries at the facility

Essential Qualifications


• Must be at least 18 years of age


• Capable of working in a BSL-2 environment and wearing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE)


• Must comply with Texcell's safety guidelines and regulatory standards


• Highly organized and self-motivated


• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively


• Professional attitude and conduct


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications


• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds


• Ability to ascend and work from a ladder
