About the Role:

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating complex electronic equipment to obtain high-quality images of the body. You will work closely with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust and control electronic equipment to apply ionizing radiation for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures to ensure their safety and obtain desired reports.
  • Calculate and select appropriate equipment and technical factors for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain working condition of equipment and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in maintaining sanitary conditions of the radiology area.
  • Comply with Radiology information system entry requirements for accurate patient tracking.
  • Support the Radiologic student program and complete mandatory education and training.

Requirements:

  • Completion of Radiologic Technology programs from an approved school.
  • Registered Radiographer (R) with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists.
  • Current Radiology state license.
  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
