Job Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of imaging equipment, including X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Develop and process radiographic images, using expertise to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a radiology department.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to lift and move patients, as well as operate heavy equipment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
