IT Network Specialist

At Quaker Windows, we are seeking an IT Network Specialist to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity for an individual with a passion for technical support and network maintenance.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

We provide technical assistance to employees, responding to electronic and phone requests for assistance. Our ideal candidate will assist users by troubleshooting problems with computer hardware or software and installing network cabling and equipment.

• Learns and maintains knowledge of the Help Desk System used by Quaker
• Provides first line of support to end users through the IT Help Desk System
• Identifies, investigates and resolves user problems with computer software and hardware
• Energizes effective and efficient operation of Quaker's network equipment and systems
• Installs network cabling and equipment in new and existing buildings
• Configures, tests, updates and repairs computer and other office equipment such as printers, scanners, etc.
• Completes routine maintenance of Quaker's equipment and systems, backup systems, cleaning, monitoring computer equipment and adheres to network security processes
• Installs workstations, printers and other equipment
• Connects all workstations to the network and relevant servers
• Installs networking equipment and cabling
• Maintains stock of spare IT parts and consumables
• Attends work regularly at assigned location
• Interacts and communicates with employees and customers in appropriate manner
• Availability on site to confer with staff members with whom the employee must interact on regular basis
• Communicates via email, prepares reports and work schedules
• Reviews and analyzes data and information from IT requests
• Plans, prioritizes and monitors IT maintenance activities
• Completes assigned tasks/projects in timely manner
