Job Overview

LEAD Staffing is seeking an experienced Shipfitter to join our team in San Diego. As a leading staffing and recruiting partner, we connect talented job seekers with exciting opportunities across various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lay out and fabricate metal plates, bulkheads, and frames.
  2. Tack weld brackets and plates.
  3. Prepare molds and templates for fabrication.
  4. Operate shop machinery such as plate rolls, presses, punch presses, and other machines.
Requirements
  1. At least 4 years of shipyard and shipfitting experience.
  2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, and schematics.
  3. DBIDS eligibility.
