Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide ongoing monitoring and evaluation of patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop treatment plans.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families on disease management and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families, and facilitate referrals to community resources as needed.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in cardiology or a related field.
  • Current RN license in New York State.
  • BSN degree or higher preferred.
  • Specialized certifications in cardiology or a related field may be required.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with EKG interpretation and stress testing.
  • Ability to administer IV medications.
