Production Equipment Operator

Manpower is currently seeking a Production Equipment Operator for a dynamic distribution center.
Shift Details: 4 days a week, 10 hours per day - Temporary to Permanent positions available - Day shift only.
This role is essential in supporting the distribution center's operations and ensuring the fulfillment of orders through the effective management and maintenance of machinery, including case erectors and BoxSizer machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and conduct preventive maintenance on case erectors and BoxSizer machines.
- Interpret setup instructions and troubleshooting guides, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Load boxes onto the case erector conveyor and manage the distribution of constructed boxes to the appropriate processing areas.
- Ensure boxes are correctly filled as they enter the BoxSizer machine and resolve any issues with rejected boxes.
- Maintain the BoxSizer process by managing the loading of lids, adding glue pellets, changing tape, and addressing any machine jams.
- Perform pre-operation checks to guarantee proper equipment startup and functionality across multiple machines.
- Monitor and operate various equipment to ensure high-quality production with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with team members and support teams to maintain continuous and efficient production.
- Execute additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-speed environment while adhering to safety protocols and standardized work practices.
- Willingness to take ownership of equipment and responsibilities.
- Strong skills in reading and interpreting setup instructions.
- Proficient troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
- Capable of multitasking and working collaboratively or independently.
- Ability to work safely on elevated platforms and in confined spaces.
- Physical capabilities to reach, walk, bend, push, pull, and climb as necessary.
- Must be able to remain on feet for the majority of the shift.
