Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans based on evidence-based practice and nutritional needs.
  • Interpret and evaluate current research related to nutritional care, ensuring the highest level of expertise.
  • Counsel individuals and families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, and food selection, adapting plans to meet individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, serving as a patient advocate and promoting seamless care.
  • Provide nutrition education to hospital personnel and the community, fostering a culture of health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or related field.
  • Registered as a Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Current license as a Medical Nutrition Therapist in Nebraska.
