Job Summary:

The Medical Laboratory Assistant will be responsible for collecting urine samples, ensuring the integrity and security of each sample, and adhering to strict protocols and regulations. This position will work closely with our laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely testing results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process urine samples for testing
  • Ensure sample integrity and security
  • Adhere to strict protocols and regulations
  • Work closely with laboratory team to ensure accurate and timely testing results
  • Monitor lab orders and perform testing as required
  • Follow infection prevention procedures and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
  • Utilize computer software platforms and electronic tools to ensure compliant lab testing and communicate with laboratory team
  • Refer to provider notes and communicate with treatment team as needed
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and manage sensitive information appropriately
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen
  • Must be 25 years or older
Desired Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

This position will serve our Marysville and West Columbus office locations.
