Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Commercial Cleaning Team Member in Muncie. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch cleaning services to office buildings and facilities throughout the Indianapolis area.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe environment for our clients.
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops.
  • Respond promptly to customer work orders and provide excellent customer service.

As a Commercial Cleaning Team Member, you will be responsible for:

  • Sweeping and vacuuming hard surface floors and carpeted floors.
  • Dusting work surfaces, furniture, and other horizontal and vertical surfaces.
  • Cleaning restrooms, including toilets, urinals, partitions, sinks, counters, mirrors, floors, and walls.
  • Replenishing restroom dispensers with paper products and soap.
  • Cleaning entrance glass and other interior glass.
  • Responding positively and promptly to customer work orders.
  • Working effectively with other team members.
  • Conducting all work in accordance with company procedures, including safety, door lock, time & attendance, and uniform policies.
  • Operating and maintaining equipment, such as vacuum cleaners.
  • Removing trash from containers and replacing torn or soiled liners.
  • Reporting building and equipment maintenance issues to supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Must care about quality of work.
  • Must be detailed oriented and work at an efficient pace.
  • Must be reliable.
  • Able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Must have valid driver's license and own private transportation.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and direction.

Compensation: $12.00 per hour
