Job Overview:


The Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing preventative maintenance on equipment utilized in oil field operations, adhering to established maintenance protocols and guidelines.


Work Schedule:

Afternoon Shift:
Begins at 1pm (10+/- hours daily)
Monday – Friday (Occasional Weekends)

Key Responsibilities:


- Conducts oil and fluid changes on various rig components, including engines, transmissions, and radiators.

- Replaces filters as necessary and monitors oil and fluid levels to ensure compliance with safety standards. - Performs inspections and maintenance on rig components to ensure optimal performance. - Maintains accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections for compliance purposes. - Provides training and oversight to assigned assistants.

- Travels frequently to various field locations within the designated area. - Performs additional related tasks as required.

Qualifications:
- Possession of a CDL B driver's license is required.

- Must meet all criteria outlined in the Motor Vehicle Policy.

- Successful completion of post-employment drug and alcohol testing is mandatory.

- Must pass the post-offer "Essential Job Functions Test."

- Compliance with DOT drug and physical testing as mandated by state and federal regulations is necessary.


- Preferred experience includes two (2) to five (5) years in well servicing, with at least two (2) years focused on maintenance of oil field equipment.

- An acceptable driving record is essential.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

- Effective problem-solving abilities are necessary.

- Capability to train and supervise others is important.

- Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time to various work sites is expected.

- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred but not mandatory.

- Candidates should be self-motivated, reliable, mature, and responsible.

- Ability to work independently is crucial.

Education Requirements:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
