Job Title: Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

As a Registered Nurse - Med Surg, you will provide high-quality, clinical services to patients in various settings in the community. You will work within our organizational philosophy, policy, and standards of community health practice to deliver patient care that meets the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in various settings, including home care and community-based settings.
  • Assess, teach, treat, document, and coordinate care for patients, demonstrating high-quality customer service and financial awareness.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Travel within MGB Home Care's geographic area as needed.
  • Utilize thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communications to manage patient care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Current Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of one year previous nursing experience in an acute care setting, with prior home care experience preferred.
  • Ability to work with various computer software and knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to work with a diverse population.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and electronically.
  • Ability to work as a member of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and adapt to changing situations.
