Job Title: Medical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at the Detroit Medical Center. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to help diagnose and treat patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood counts, urinalyses, and other specialized tests.
  • Analyze test results and prepare reports for physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory tests and results.
  • Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and effective laboratory operations.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related field.
  • Registered or registry eligible in Medical Technology.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
