Interior Electrician

As a key member of the Army National Guard, Interior Electricians play a vital role in the operation of our facilities. They are responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, ensuring the safe and efficient distribution of power.

As an Interior Electrician, you will work on a variety of projects, including installing and wiring electrical hardware, inspecting power distribution systems, and troubleshooting electrical circuits. You will also be responsible for ensuring the safety of electrical work and systems using test meters.

• Inspect power distribution systems and identify potential issues
• Install and wire electrical hardware, including transformers, junction boxes, and circuit breakers
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits and identify root causes of issues
• Ensure the safety of electrical work and systems using test meters

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
• Must meet citizenship requirements

Through your training, you will develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career in commercial and residential contracting, or as a self-employed contractor. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including power generation and distribution, and electrical system installation and maintenance.
