Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm
Pay:

The Vascular Surgeon is a specialty professional in the care of our patients.
The Vascular Surgeon will evaluate and treat diseases which need surgical diagnosis and/or treatment to achieve palliation or cure in Vascular Surgery.
The Vascular Surgeon is responsible for the supervision/training of Surgical Residents and will be available when on call to provide consultation care for our patients.
The Vascular Surgeon will demonstrate the ability to appropriately and courteously relate to internal and external customers, maintain the confidentiality of patient/employee information, and to function and work in a safe manner, as well as demonstrating an on-going commitment to and understanding of the Medical Center's Performance Improvement program.
The Vascular Surgeon will demonstrate the knowledge of changes associated with ageing and principles of human growth and development possess the ability to assess and interpret patient data, and the ability to identify age-specific needs such as incorporating age specific factors, and needs into patient care activities.
The Surgical Department strives to maintain a safe working environment, in which we identify and address issues and concerns as they relate to safety problems within Vascular Surgery Section.
Preferred Experience:
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Vascular Surgery and 2-3 years post-residency experience in this specialty. General or Thoracic experience is a plus but not required.
