About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Manager to lead our personalization and recommendations initiatives at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a key member of our product team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of machine learning models and personalization features across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a product strategy for personalization and recommendations, working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning models and features into our product portfolios.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and researchers to design and analyze experiments, and to inform personalization and recommendations strategies.
  • Lead the machine learning platform and data science product strategy, defining key metrics, roadmaps, and quarterly OKRs in partnership with ML engineering and science teams.
  • Communicate product updates, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Ensure that all personalization initiatives comply with privacy regulations and adhere to industry best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 7 years of product management experience, ideally with consumer-facing product experience with machine learning and AI components.
  • Proven track record of managing and delivering complex product initiatives, working with a full-stack team.
  • Strong understanding of personalization techniques, recommendation engines, and AI/machine learning applications, with a passion for algorithms and their potential in driving user engagement.
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and running online experimentations.
  • Comfortable writing SQL queries and have experience working with data scientists and data analysts to define and measure KPIs.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills in delivering strategies to cross-functional leadership teams and gaining support.
