Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients, including screening, evaluation, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to optimize patient functionality and skills.
  • Directly supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehab Techs in skilled tasks during group and individual treatment.
  • Build a strong occupational therapy program and enhance clinical expertise through interaction with managers, therapists, and other professional staff.
  • Maintain valid state license and awareness of issues related to the profession of occupational therapy and the healthcare environment.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited school of occupational therapy.
  • Valid certification from the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Valid Occupational Therapist state license (where applicable).
