The Vascular Technologist will engage in a range of essential duties to support the daily functions of the Vascular Laboratory.
Qualifications:
a. Completion of an accredited ultrasound program is required.
b. ARDMS certification is preferred or must be obtained within the first year of employment.
Professional Experience:
a. Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
b. Familiarity with general office equipment (e.g., telephone, FAX, computer, and copier) is necessary.
c. Experience in interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner is essential.
Key Competencies:
a. Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive demeanor and deliver exceptional customer service in high-pressure situations.
b. Proficient in clear and effective communication, both verbally and in writing.
c. Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
d. Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances swiftly.
e. Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with physicians and colleagues.
f. Effective time management skills.
g. Competence in following directives from physicians and supervisory staff.
