About Us

Gateway Domestic Violence Services is a leading provider of comprehensive services and safe shelter to adults and dependent children fleeing domestic violence in Arapahoe County, Colorado.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Case Manager to provide case management services to victims of domestic violence, including crisis intervention, individual emotional support, advocacy, and assistance with gaining access to housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Crisis intervention, screening, and assessment services to victims of domestic violence, including intake into our residential services.
  • Provides advocacy support as needed; may serve as a liaison between local agencies and clients on an emergency basis.
  • Assists with applying for benefits and securing necessary documentation.
  • Serves as a resource for housing applications and securing appropriate housing.
  • Maintains complete client files, including standard forms and progress notes.
  • Interacts with clients and resolves disputes using mediation skills.
  • Responsible for proper safety precautions and security procedures.
  • Understands trauma-informed care and how to use it in crisis situations.
  • Develops awareness of community resources available to referral partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred, but related work experience will be considered.
  • A minimum of one-year experience in human services area with experience in counseling and crisis intervention, including a working knowledge of the dynamics of domestic violence.

    • CPR and First Aid certified, preferred.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Bilingual Skills strongly preferred.

  • Expected hourly range of $20.30 to $21.75 depending on experience and education.

  • This position is expected to work Monday – Friday, 12:00pm to 8:00pm.
