American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld-Wen and one of the largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork in the nation, is currently looking for Lead Shipping and Receiving Specialists to support our Distribution division in delivering exceptional goods and services to our clientele.

JELD-WEN stands as one of the premier manufacturers of doors and windows globally, employing over 22,000 individuals across 24 countries. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces, and distributes a comprehensive array of interior and exterior doors, along with wood, vinyl, and aluminum windows.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Inspecting incoming shipments
  • Verifying shipping documents for accurate customer details
  • Developing weekly truck schedules
  • Performing data entry tasks
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Excel
  • Conducting preventative maintenance inspections at the start of shifts
  • Assisting with inventory cycle counts as required
  • Preparing and handling materials
  • Communicating with vendors to facilitate scheduling
  • Executing other general warehouse responsibilities as necessary

Previous experience in a Distribution or comparable environment is advantageous, but not mandatory.
