About the Role

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center. As a CNA, you will provide clinical and clerical support to the Long Term Care department and other departments in accordance with Providence philosophy, objectives, policies, procedures, and standards.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine nursing and household duties/tasks to promote a resident-directed model of care in the home-like setting.
  • Perform basic clinical and clerical support duties as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
  • Coursework/Training - Must complete twelve (12) hours of in-service training annually to maintain certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months - experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant, or private caregiver.
