Job Description

Ilerwork is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects, including new facilities, expansions, renovations, and alterations. Collaboration with project teams, construction sites, and management is essential for successful project execution.

The company has developed into one of America's premier Mechanical Construction and Facility Services companies, serving clients through the full life-cycle of a facility, including engineering, construction, operations, and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality projects are built on time and within budget, processing scope changes in a timely manner.
  • Review various reports to determine project status and determine actions required, providing periodic status and end-of-contract cost and budget analysis.
  • Conduct pre-job planning meetings, document meeting results, and ensure all action items are completed, developing and keeping current all project schedules.
  • Establish and execute subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate project issues to management in a timely manner.
  • Assemble project estimates, review final estimates, and ensure proper loading of numbers into the project cost system.
  • Prepare and submit monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow during contract performance.
  • Manage conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trades, or partners.
  • Identify and develop policies and procedures for continuous aggressive improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering degree.
  • 5+ years of MEP project management experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach.
