Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Director to join our team at Reach DANE. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-directing one of our larger sites, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 0 to 4K.

Key Responsibilities
  • Co-direct a multi-classroom site, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education programs.
  • Supervise and provide performance feedback to reporting staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum, aligned with Head Start Performance Standards and Wisconsin Day Care Licensing requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the site, including staff supervision, training, and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless program delivery and achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and agency policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development preferred.
  • Registry Level 14 certification.
  • DPI certification in ECE or ECEEN or related DPI certification.
  • Extensive experience in early childhood education program management.
  • Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards, Wisconsin Day Care Licensing requirements, and Creative Curriculum.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and cultures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
  • Experience in special education.
  • Knowledge of and experience with infant/toddler and family child care programming.
  • Experience managing subsidized childcare.
  • At least 2 years of successful supervisory experience.
