About the Role

The Columbus Regional Airport Authority is seeking a skilled Airport Maintenance Technician to join our team at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our airport facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and safety inspections of airport buildings and facilities.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed.
  • Perform basic HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance and repairs.
  • Install and maintain electrical equipment, including radios, electric motors, and switches.
  • Maintain and repair airport buildings, passenger boarding bridges, and baggage conveyor belts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least two years of experience in carpentry, plumbing, heating, and cooling maintenance, electrical, and/or building maintenance.
  • Possess a valid Ohio driver's license in good standing.
  • Knowledge of general building maintenance and ability to organize work and meet deadlines.
