Position Overview:

The Receiver plays a crucial role in our daily operations, overseeing the receipt of all deliveries, ensuring quality control, and organizing commissary storage in compliance with health and safety standards. This position also involves maintaining accurate receiving and waste logs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily receiving operations, including all deliveries.
  • Conduct quality checks on incoming products.
  • Organize and maintain storage areas according to health regulations.
  • Keep detailed records of all receiving and waste activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in computer applications (Office, Excel, and CaterXpert preferred).
  • Availability for morning shifts, typically from 6am to 3:30pm, with flexibility for all seven days.
  • Language proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in receiving and familiarity with food products.
  • Possession of a NYC Food Handler's Certificate.
  • Physical ability to navigate all kitchen areas, including food and beverage sections.
  • Capability to perform tasks requiring mobility, prolonged standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
