Employment Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation: $17 per hour
Note: A pre-employment background check and drug screening are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Woodyard Loader Operator, your primary duties will include:
- Mixing raw materials according to specifications to prepare for production needs, ensuring the correct blend and moisture levels.
- Receiving and sorting incoming raw material loads by species.
- Conducting quality inspections of raw materials and reporting any defects to management.
- Loading the infeed bin in accordance with the production schedule.
- Performing loader inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Collaborating with team members to communicate workflow status.
- Carrying out additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
- Preferred experience includes one to two years of loader operation in an industrial environment.
- Strong hand-eye-foot coordination is essential.
- Ability to maintain focus for extended periods and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Physical capability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly, and to stand or sit for prolonged periods.
- Comfortable with climbing stairs and working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude are necessary for performing loader maintenance.
