Quality Assurance Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Nurse to join our team at Interim HealthCare Home Health and Hospice. As a Quality Assurance Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the clinical management team to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Provide educational opportunities and training to staff on quality standards and best practices
  • Participate in clinical management team meetings to discuss quality improvement initiatives and share best practices
  • Stay up-to-date on national, state, and regional requirements, standards, and clinical practice guidelines
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) in which you practice
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Nurse, with one (1) year of experience in hospice or home care preferred
  • Considerable experience and/or knowledge of performance improvement activities preferred
