Acute Care/SRTF Administrator

Community Counseling Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Care/SRTF Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our acute care/secure residential treatment facility (SRTF) for up to sixteen clients.
Responsibilities:- Provide oversight and supervision of the Assistant Administrator, Clinicians, Residential Associates, and other employees who provide 24-hour acute care/SRTF services to residents.
- Ensure the quality of training and supervision of staff, including re-training and evaluating staff performance.
- Work closely with the Medical Director to ensure healthcare practices are implemented and followed.
- Supervise and train staff to best support the needs of the acute care program and promote crisis prevention across various programs in CCS.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures relevant to the operation of the facility that meet state requirements.
- Coordinate and maintain a professional relationship with all staff and others providing services to residents.
- Ensure that Individualized Support Plans are completed for SRTF residents.
- Work with the Executive Director to plan agency goals and objectives regarding delivery of services.
- Convene a Regional Acute Care Advisory Committee and ensure it meets regularly and works in accordance with relevant state rules and statutes.
- Follow the grievance process for all complaints submitted and work diligently to resolve the complaints.
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the development of the budget.
- Ensure that the agency is meeting or exceeding all the requirements for the relevant OAR's.
- Work with contracted prescribers to put together schedules and ensure that the service delivery is well coordinated for prescribers and the customers they see.
- Ensure that all paperwork is completed by all staff and is timely and professional.
- Reports all cases of abuse or neglect to the correct agency.
- Initiate holds, provide civil commitment investigations, and work with the hospitals, case workers, and the state and other individuals/agencies for all individuals in the civil commitment process.
- Provide utilization management for adults needing higher levels of care.
- Schedule and participate in meetings with other agencies to ensure continuity of service delivery and ensure that CCS is highly regarded by community partners.
- Participants in all internal administrative meetings. Holds regular staff meetings.
- Communicates with members of the public to coordinate work programs, inform the public about our services, and speak with groups about the services and/or specific areas of mental health services.
- As requested, serve on various boards or committees in the community as it relates to program services.
- Assist the Chief Financial Officer in ensuring that there is a good working relationship between clerical and clinical staff and the lines of communication are left open.
- Transport customers as needed.
- Receive and promote all training as needed.
- Bachelor's degree (master's preferred) in a healthcare-related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in a healthcare-related field, preferably medical.
- Prior experience in directly or indirectly supervising a minimum of 15 employees.
