Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric patients in our intensive care unit, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosol therapy.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RRT or CRT licensure in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum two years of experience in pediatric respiratory care, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Advanced certifications in NRP, PALS, and ACLS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
