- Operate manual and automated hydroblasting machinery as needed.
- Utilize specialized equipment, including Ultra High Pressure pumps.
- Manage the operation of equipment by activating pumping systems and any specialized hydroblasting or chemical cleaning apparatus, vacuum trucks, and cutting tools.
- Inspect cleaned surfaces to verify compliance with company and client standards.
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment utilized during operations.
- Oversee tasks related to liquid vacuums, air machines, and jet rodders.
- Lead a team of vacuum technicians.
- Transport equipment and personnel to various job sites.
- Complete pre and post-trip inspections, maintain driver logs, and adhere to all vehicle policies and DOT regulations.
- Handle loading and unloading of hoses.
- Discharge vacuum trucks at designated disposal sites.
- Provide general maintenance support in the field.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- Relevant vocational training, including classroom safety education, on-the-job experience, and essential skills acquired from previous roles.
- Proficient in English to understand safety training and respond to emergency instructions.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, with CDL Class A or B as per company driving policy.
- Knowledgeable in the use of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
- Experience in operating vacuum trucks; a smartphone is required for Electronic Logging Device usage.
- Familiarity with equipment used in both wet and dry vacuum operations.
