Job Description

The Production Engineer position on our 1st shift team involves providing vital engineering support for existing and new operations. To excel in this role, candidates should possess a four-year degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations
  1. Implement Lean Manufacturing techniques to optimize production workflows and minimize waste.
  2. Collaborate with the Design Engineering team to develop innovative solutions for increased production efficiency and reduced costs.
  3. Train production staff on proper equipment operation, software usage, and process execution.
  4. Identify and address potential design flaws, working closely with Design Engineering to resolve issues.
  5. Develop and refine process documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to Link-Belt standards.
  6. Troubleshoot production problems, promptly resolving issues to minimize downtime and maintenance expenses.
  7. Partner with Manufacturing to resolve product-related concerns.
  8. Analyze market trends and economic factors to inform strategic manufacturing decisions.
  9. Maintain equipment to prevent errors and optimize performance.
  10. Lead projects as assigned, ensuring timely completion and budget compliance.
  11. Provide technical insights for cost estimation and reduction initiatives.
  12. Verify production-related designs through precise engineering calculations.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $120,000 annually, contingent upon experience and location.
