Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to oversee our enterprise GitHub environment specifically tailored for our Healthcare Business Group (HCBG). This role entails managing, updating, and resolving issues related to our GitHub services, including GitHub Enterprise Server, Git Clients, Git-LFS, GitFlow, GitHub Actions, Packages, and Projects. The GitHub platform serves as a vital resource for version control and collaborative software development, integrating seamlessly with various third-party tools and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and sustain GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
  • Provide support for diverse Git Clients and Git-LFS.
  • Advocate for optimal branching and migration methodologies.
  • Facilitate integration with Webhooks, GitHub Apps, and OAuth Apps.
  • Assist with authentication processes, including SSH, Personal Access Tokens, and SSO (SAML/OIDC – IDP).
  • Automate tasks using scripting languages as necessary.
  • Manage projects to completion and take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Participate in project meetings to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
  • Be available for urgent after-hours escalations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of four (4) years of software troubleshooting experience.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing GitHub Enterprise Server and/or GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
  • Three (3) years of experience supporting and troubleshooting Git clients, Git-LFS, migrations, and branching.
  • Three (3) years of experience with secondary services such as GitHub Actions, Packages, Issues, and Projects.
  • Familiarity with authentication methods and SSO.
  • Knowledge of Webhooks, GitHub Apps, and OAuth Apps.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing team projects or acting as a key stakeholder in multiple projects.
  • Three (3) years of experience working with Amazon Web Services, utilizing services like EC2, VPC, S3, Route53, CloudWatch, EBS, EFS, AMI, IAM, MFA, ELB, Lambda, Auto-scaling, and Security Groups.
  • One (1) year of experience troubleshooting API errors and web connectivity.
  • Two (2) years of automation experience in technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, Ruby, Java, C#, Terraform, and Cloud Formation.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Linux Server Operating Systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Associate or Professional level AWS Certifications.
  • Experience with AWS Organizations and Control Tower.
  • Familiarity with GitHub CodeSpaces and CoPilot.
  • Experience with other pipeline products, such as Jenkins, Maven, Azure Pipelines, and Drone.
  • Experience with integration using REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with security-related tools.
  • Experience with monitoring tools.
