AlignMed Partners is seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting the delivery of high-quality clinical services that meet the needs of our patients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Take complete responsibility for patients admitted to your service, ensuring their care is coordinated and effective.
- Comply with AlignMed Partners' credentialing process and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct.
- Visit assigned patients in a timely fashion, adhering to AlignMed Partners' policy and procedure.
- Comply with guidelines related to AlignMed Partners' initiatives and maintain a commitment to quality and safety.
- Assess patients and ensure a complete history and physical examination are on the chart within 72 hours of admission.
- Deliver high-quality care to assigned patients, working closely with the Center Medical Director to improve care in the facility.
- Serve as a role model for other physicians and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
- Help articulate AlignMed Partners' mission to the community and professional organizations, establishing relationships with area hospitals and other institutions.
- Demonstrate care and compassion, ensuring all internal and external customers receive high-quality service.
- Comply with AlignMed Partners' Time Off and On Call policies, performing other duties as assigned.
- M.D. or D.O. required.
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine preferred, with maintenance of certification.
- Geriatrics specialization is desirable.
- Certified Medical Director (CMD) through AMDA is desirable.
