POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Practical Nurse (LPN) will deliver direct and personalized nursing care to a designated group of patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or healthcare provider. The LPN will monitor, document, and report medical information and nursing care delivered in the electronic medical record system. Additionally, the LPN will educate patients and their families according to established teaching plans. Effective communication with the healthcare team is essential to ensure the coordination of tailored patient care.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be currently licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or possess a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required prior to the completion of orientation.
