Job Overview

We are looking for a junior Associate Attorney with a keen interest in Commercial and Civil Litigation to become part of our dynamic legal team.

This role offers a unique chance to join a well-respected firm, engaging with a variety of cases, particularly in commercial litigation, bankruptcy, and franchising.

Your responsibilities will include managing your own caseload, working independently, and collaborating with our experienced attorneys.

As a Permanent Associate Attorney, your duties will include:


  • Representing clients in all facets of commercial and civil litigation.
  • Providing legal guidance on franchising issues, including drafting agreements, advising on franchise law, and negotiating disputes.
  • Managing bankruptcy proceedings, including filing petitions, negotiating with creditors, and representing clients in court.
  • Conducting research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for court hearings and trials.
  • Collaborating with a team of attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
  • Staying informed on developments in commercial and civil litigation law, bankruptcy law, and franchise law.
  • Delivering exceptional client service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess:
  • A Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in Colorado.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as an Associate Attorney, preferably with a background in franchising and bankruptcy, though strong clerk experience and academic performance will also be considered.
  • A proven ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
  • Excellent research, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build client relationships and work collaboratively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
  • A high degree of professional ethics and integrity.
