Qualifications and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience: Minimum of one year in floor cleaning or related specialty cleaning fields (e.g., stripping and waxing, air duct cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, upholstery cleaning).
- Skills: Basic math skills for equipment selection and usage; proficiency in using computers and mobile devices for reporting and documentation.
- Certifications: Highly desired certifications from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), including Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) certification.
- Advancement Opportunities: Potential to progress into roles such as Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT), Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT), Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD), Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS), and Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT).
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional carpet and floor cleaning and restoration services.
- Complete necessary documentation and authorizations for cleaning and restoration tasks.
- Maintain effective communication with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment and company vehicles.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain an organized inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
- Stay updated with the latest cleaning technologies and techniques.
- Uphold company standards and hold oneself accountable for performance.
The selected candidate will be among the initial team members at Voda Cleaning & Restoration of Savannah - Hilton Head, entrusted with significant responsibilities and the opportunity to grow alongside the company as it expands. Compensation will increase with experience and additional certifications.
