About the Role

At Ulta Beauty, we're seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Beauty Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing top-notch beauty services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Engage with guests, consult with them on their hair care needs, and recommend products and services.
  • Service Delivery: Assist in the delivery of hair services, including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of our product offerings and be able to demonstrate, recommend, and sell pro hair care and makeup products.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our experienced stylists and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
  • Store Operations: Maintain a clean and organized salon environment, adhere to our dress code, and protect company assets.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology License: Must be licensed to practice cosmetology in the state of employment.
  • Technical Skills: Basic understanding of the latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services (where applicable).
  • Communication Skills: Developed communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
