As a part of our commercial team, the Hematology Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) plays a pivotal role in establishing professional relationships and providing education to key Health Care Professionals (HCPs) involved in the care of patients using our hematology products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Customer Engagement:**
- Build and maintain strong relationships with academic and community HCPs within your designated area.
- Deliver on-label clinical and product education regarding our hematology offerings through various interaction channels (one-on-one, group presentations, remote sessions, etc.).
2. **Clinical Expertise:**
- Collaborate with sales teams to conduct promotional speaker programs and in-services for HCPs.
- Provide product demonstrations and support for CAR T therapy sites.
3. **Strategic Planning:**
- Contribute to cross-functional business plans and assist in developing clinically relevant programs aligned with commercial strategies.
4. **Continuous Learning:**
- Stay updated on the treatment landscape, product features, and disease states to effectively address customer educational needs.
Qualifications:
- Advanced Practice Provider (DNP, NP), MSN, or BSN with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in Hematology/Oncology.
- Preferred experience as a Nurse Educator within the pharmaceutical sector.
- Active Nursing or PA licensure is required.
- In-depth clinical knowledge of Hematology and Cell Therapy, including AML, Lymphoma, MDS, and Myeloma.
Desired Skills:
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align plans with business objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, including impactful presentation abilities.
- Proven track record of effectively transferring clinical knowledge and influencing patient management protocols.
- Ability to foster meaningful partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
This role involves significant travel (approximately 50-75% of the time) and requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Candidates must be prepared to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
