Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at DND Groups, Inc. as a General Manager for our Taco Johns location in Loveland, Colorado.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, driving sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Key responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership
- Building and developing a trusted team of restaurant staff, guiding, supporting, and bringing out the best in crew members and shift leaders.
- Maintaining a positive working relationship with all restaurant staff, fostering a cooperative and pleasant working climate that maximizes employee morale, productivity, and efficiency.
- Restaurant Operations
- Hiring, training, and developing shift managers and conducting formal employee performance reviews.
- Ensuring the team is equipped to provide an excellent guest experience in all areas, including food quality, service, and cleanliness.
- Utilizing the restaurant's profit and loss statement to optimize sales and profit by analyzing COGS and taking corrective action if necessary.
- Maintaining inventory, projecting changes in demand throughout the year, and adjusting labor accordingly.
- Ensuring the restaurant is properly staffed to drive sales volumes, preparing crew members' schedules, and approving schedules completed by assistant managers to meet staffing requirements and labor goals.
- Customer Service
- Personally responding to customer complaints, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve problems and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identifying areas for improvement as a team and implementing changes to enhance the customer experience.
- Marketing and Sales
- Organizing and implementing local restaurant marketing initiatives, incorporating regional and national marketing promotions to increase restaurant sales.
- Exercising good judgment in decision-making and reporting issues to the district manager.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Restaurant Management Experience
- A minimum of 3-5 years of restaurant management experience, with quick service restaurant experience strongly preferred.
- Education
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Skills and Qualifications
- A strong sense of urgency, ability to thrive under pressure, and motivate the team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to adapt and engage with a diverse crew and wide range of customers.
- A proven track record of effective management, demonstrated by previous COGS and labor experience.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to oversee and balance all aspects of a fast-paced and dynamic restaurant.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

The successful candidate will receive:
- Salary
- $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (based on experience)
