Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician, adhering to established standards of care and policies.
- Assist medical personnel with special procedures, minor surgical procedures, and diagnostic exams.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions, notifying physicians or healthcare professionals as needed.
- Prepare and administer medications as directed by physician orders, following established protocols.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, requesting medical records, and maintaining department logs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and support.
- Minimum one year of recent experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in an acute or outpatient setting.
- Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
