About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Emerson. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing manufacturing processes and systems that drive efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop manufacturing processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies and processes
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process flows, work instructions, and quality control procedures
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve manufacturing issues
  • Support new product development, pilot runs, and product launches
  • Validate assembly procedures and product performance
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvements and cost reductions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including mechanical and electrical components
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with manufacturing software, including CAD and CAM systems
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to create and implement process improvements and cost reductions
