Role Overview

Medcor is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide exceptional care in our employer-based clinic setting. This is a full-time opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team, focusing on occupational health and wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide acute episodic care for the clinic, working collaboratively with medical and operational leadership.
  • Diagnose and treat workers' compensation injuries and illnesses, as well as provide urgent care and preventative services.
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships, collaborating with Certified Medical Assistants, Nurses, and EMTs.
  • Support client's wellness and preventative programs, documenting and managing information using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools.

Requirements

  • Valid unrestricted IL licensure
  • Current DEA & BLS certifications
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with EMR software
  • Positive and outgoing personality, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
