We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Mechanic III to join our team at MarBorg Industries. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform advanced level repairs and maintenance tasks on heavy-duty trucks and equipment, including engine, transmission, and brake systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using computer diagnosis and technical knowledge.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
- Rebuild and install diesel, gasoline, and compressed natural gas engines, as well as other heavy-duty truck components.
- Investigate and resolve malfunctions and breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide technical guidance and training to other mechanics and maintenance personnel.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; ASE certifications and/or trade school diploma/certification preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair, with a focus on advanced level repairs and maintenance.
- Valid Class C driver's license; commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or B preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with management, colleagues, and customers.
The Fleet Mechanic III will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and potential hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
CompensationMarBorg Industries offers a competitive hourly wage of $33-$40 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
